TROPICAL BIODIVERSITY IN COSTA RICA

Xavier University is proud to offer a winter intersession course in Costa Rica.  This intensive 3-credit hour field course will give you hands-on experience in tropical ecosystems and will teach you fundamentals of tropical biology and conservation.  The course will be conducted at several locations in Costa Rica, giving students opportunities to explore both Atlantic and Pacific rainforest. We will visit an array of ecosystems including tropical rainforests, intertidal and marine habitats, as well as an organic cacao plantation and other agricultural ecosystems.
